Pallavi College of Teacher Education was set up in the year 2001 and is situated Ranga Reddy, Telangana. This college is most importantly a co-education college which focuses on instilling potentials of educators of the future through its programs of study. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college is fully compliant to Educational standards. With new student enrolment of 185 and quality consciousness, Pallavi College of Teacher Education has been in the service of nation building in the field of teacher education for the last 24 years.

The college has a variety of facility that are fitted in the college to facilitate effective learning environment of the students. A good library collection is useful especially to the aspiring teachers for up-to-date required information. It also has departmental laboratories which clearly enable effective practical learning that is essential for teaching practice. Student facilities include the cafeteria, sports and games facilities and a health centre where first aid facilities are available. There is clear evidence of a modern education college of the IT technologies whereby students master modern teaching technologies.

Pallavi College of Teacher Education has two extensive programmes in the Faculty of Education. The course is Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) which is a full time two-year course and it will be allowed to intake 100 students. For learners with passion in the area of study to teach in the lower classes, the college offers a two-year full-time Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for 50 learners. The two courses enable the student to gain necessary skills and knowledge in their teaching profession hence being responsive to demands of teaching profession as deemed by the institution.

Pallavi College of Teacher Education has a merit-based admission policy, applicants’ marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. This is in line with the polices advanced by the state government, UT administration, and the affiliated university. The college’s determination to produce quality personnel for its education programs is seen through its gates admission policy that only allows people who are ready to make the difference in the future education field to join the college.
