Panskura Banamali College, East Midnapore: Western Bengal was established in the year 1960. It is situated in the state of West Bengal, India. The area of the campus is about 12.43 acres. The college caters to 38 courses under 13 degree programs. The college consists of 5,817 students and 95 faculty members. It has a mixed set of students with 42% male students and 58% female students. The college accredits with NAAC and NCTE approval.

Panskura Banamali College provides various modern facilities needed for the learning process and development of the students. A well-equipped, above 54-year-old library is replenished with a considerable number of books, especially some rare and valuable editions. A separate computer lab is established with modern facilities, along with Wi-Fi connectivity in every nook and corner of the campus. All courses are full-time, with duration of 2 to 3 years for undergraduate programmes and 2 years for postgraduate programmes.  

Admission to Panskura Banamali College is based on merit, using marks acquired in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests. For B.Ed. and B.P.Ed., such programmes maintain well-defined processes of admission according to the government and the university. For example, the intake for the B.Ed. programme is cleared with 100, and the B.P.Ed. programme is there with 50 intake levels. Also, the M.P.Ed. programme offers 40 intake levels.
