Patel College of Pharmacy, located in Ramanagara, was started in 2005 and is only focused on providing pharmaceutical education in Karnataka, India. At B.M Road, Archakarahalli, this Institute occupies a 2.5-acre area, mainly providing specialized environment for the study of pharmacists. PCI stands for Pharmacy Council of India and it approves the college to conform with the standards set by the government of India with respect to pharmacy colleges. Presently, Patel College of Pharmacy has 118 Regular students enrolled and 7 Teaching faculty members that enable a professional relationship, distinguishing the student-teacher ratio.

The college has various facilities that it deems necessary for the improvement of the college learning environment. It has equipped every laboratory with modern and scientific apparatus, adequate glassware, unbroken water supply and good gas connections and they are manned by highly qualified and skilled lab technicians. It is an information center and has a well-stocked library that is equipped with printed and electronic books, reference books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, national & international journals and magazines. Understanding the role of technology in today’s educational system, the college has started a computerised lab with broadband and Wi-fi connection Training in basic computer and Internet is imparted to all students. To cater the needs of those students who are in need of hosted accommodation, there are hostels for boys and girls within the school and the hostels include a dining facility where students get to take North and South Indian foods. For students’ welfare, the college provides a sports field, infirmary for first aid, and an athletic facility for body building facilities.

Patel College of Pharmacy currently offers one primary course: namely the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This full-time, two-year program has an approved intake capacity of 60 students per academic year. The D.Pharma course is planned to help the students develop the necessary knowledge in the Pharmaceutical sciences before they can work in the pharmacy field. Although this diploma program is highlighted in the college, the college shows a provision of quality education to the course in pharmacy.
