Patiram Shivhare Mahavidyalaya, Bhind, which has been set up in the year of 2002 as an affiliated college of Madhya Pradesh,india. This institution has established itself in this country, especially in teacher education programs. Approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) the college proves its concern towards quality education. Our faculties and staffs comprise of 26 dedicated faculty members who are well equipped to provide the future of our young teacher some courses to follow.

The college counts numerous amenities as its features and assets that play a vital role in educational process. Students are provided with comfortable boys and girls HOSTEL with all facilities such as resident wardens who take care of the students like home . It also centralises knowledge in that it offers a wide range of learning resources for students who need them. In serving teaching and learning purposes, the college has departmental laboratories and a strong information technology support. There are also gym facilities, an available hall for conducting major and minor events, seminars, etc., and sports areas that foster exercise and group collaboration. Buffet meals that are cheap and healthy vegetarian meals are available on site for the employees with substations obtained from the chief dieticians. Furthermore, there are numerous transport facilities available at this college so students can go for the Hospital tours as well as the Community health tours which is an important part of their learning.

All together presently, Patiram Shivhare Mahavidyalaya has a provision of four full established courses, which are as follows – Full establishment Teacher education courses: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme that admissions 200 students lays the foundation of the college. For the candidate who want to pursue higher degree, Master of Education (M.Ed) programme is offered with 50 seats. It also offers diploma courses where enrolment is 100 for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

The process of admissions adopted at the Patiram Shivhare Mahavidyalaya is both equitable and non- selective as it recognizes the policies of the state government, the UT administration as well as the affiliated university. For B.Ed and D.El.Ed programs there is merit list which is prepared from marks of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. In the case of M.Ed Programme also, the admissions are offered on merit in qualifying the examination or through a entrance test.  The college has proven to be sensitive to the issue of accessibility to college education to all clients in as much as the specific Scholarships for us is still unavailable.
