Patrician College of Arts and Science, which started in the year 2001 with the permission of Government of Tamil Nadu, National Council for Teacher Education and All India Council for Technical Education, is a renowned college situated at Chennai. It is one of the affiliated college with NAAC accreditation, The college offers the students various under graduate and post graduate degree courses in various faculties/disciplines. The college is located on 3.3-acres of land, and about 3,572 students enrolled and 126 faculty members attend the college. There are more than twenty-six courses and twelve degrees which include Commerce, Arts, Science and Management, offered at Patrician College.
The college has all necessary facilities for teaching as well as learning processes of the students in learning institutions. A centralized, air-conditioned library is equipped with the latest books, periodicals, e-journals, and books in braille for blind students. The psychology laboratory is set up for a variety of experiments The computer lab is equipped with 100 up-to-date computers with high-speed Internet connection. For extracurricular activities, the college provides a fully furnished and air-conditioned auditorium for the talented students who like to perform on stage in drama, dance, etc. A sports-mad community enjoys first-rate amenities as well as encouragement to compete at a college level or preferably in the Olympics.
