Phonics School of Diploma Programmes, Roorkee was established in 2009. This is a co-ed institute that is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi. It offers various types of diploma programmes in engineering fields. The institution has 113 faculty members presently.

The well-equipped library includes ample books, journals, both national and international, and digital resources for self-study. Laboratories at Phonics School of Diploma Programmes are well-equipped with advanced instruments pertaining to various streams of engineering studies, offering practical exposure among the students in respective fields. Admission into the Phonics School of Diploma Programmes is selective and is based on the performance of candidates in some relevant qualifying examinations.
