Phonics School of Education, Roorkee, an affiliated college located in Imli Khera, Dharampur, on the Bhagwanpur-Haridwar Highway in Uttarakhand, India, has come up as a co-educational institution. The major emphasis of the Phonics School of Education, Roorkee, is on the training programme, for which it offers B.Ed. at the undergraduate level. This is a full-time, two-year course with an approved intake of 100 students. The B.Ed. course aims at training its students for a teaching profession by equipping them with pedagogical skills and needed know-how. Only one degree programme is offered by the institute at present; still, it indicates a commitment towards quality education in a specialised area.
