Pillai College of Education and Research, New Panvel, is an institute that had been founded in 2007 with a very definite aim: to prepare the education landscape for the future. An institute based out of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, Pillai College is an institute running its co-educational programmes in teacher education, accredited by NAAC and the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, which means the institution guarantees quality education. This college is located across 1.087 acres campus, has a total enrolment of 143 students, and has a faculty strength of 23 members. Pillai College of Education and Research is working on excellence in its three courses for aspiring teachers at all levels.

There are also master's programmes for those seeking a Master of Education (M.Ed) and who wish to develop or enhance their knowledge base in educational practice. Research scholars and professionals can pursue a Ph.D. in Education, thereby furthering the establishment of knowledge within the domain. B.Ed and M.Ed are the two pot- Bearing programmes of this college, which have an approved intake capacity of 100 students and 50 students, respectively.
