PMV (Prem Mahavidyalay) Polytechnic, Mathura was established in 1909 by the esteemed freedom fighter and patriot Aryan Peshwa Raja Mahendra Pratap Ji. It held a unique distinction as one of India’s pioneering Polytechnic Institutes during that era. The institution focuses on providing students with hand-on skills and technical knowledge that are directly applicable to specific industries.
PMV Polytechnic, Mathura is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow and operates under the jurisdiction of the Director of Technical Education, U.P., Kanpur. All the courses offered by the institute are sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Prem Mahavidyalay Polytechnic, Mathura offers a range of three-year diploma courses in diverse Engineering disciplines. The courses offered by the institute are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma Mechanical (Automobile) Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical (Production) Engineering and Diploma in Chemical (Petro) Engineering. These courses are conducted in two shifts namely first shift and second shift. The courses in the second shift are self-financed.
Encompassing 27 acres of wide-spread space, the institute boasts a comprehensive infrastructure. This includes an academic block, classrooms, drawing halls, workshops, various well-equipped laboratories, including a computer laboratory, a library, a guest house, a playground and courts catering to various sports. Admission to PMV Polytechnic, Mathura is granted based on the merit rank obtained in JEECUP. To appear in the JEECUP exam, candidates need to submit an online application form. A detailed application process of PMV Polytechnic, Mathura is mentioned below.
Registration: Aspiring candidates are required to visit the official website of JEECUP i.e. jeecup.admissions.nic.in and click on the ‘Registration link’. During the registration phase, candidates are required to enter their full name, the names of their parents, Aadhaar number, a valid email address, phone number and date of birth. Additionally, they are required to create a password to facilitate future logins.
Application form filling: Once the registration is successful, candidates are required to complete the application form. The application form details include domicile, academic qualifications and category details. Also, they have to select cities in order of preference for the JEECUP exam centre.
