Pragati College of Education situated at Rangareddy, Telangana, India was established in 2003 and is affiliated. This institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education plays a special role in offering quality education in the teaching arena. Located at Singapore Township and nearby NTPC Power Grid Ghanpur Village, Ghatkesar the college occupies an area of 1 acre of land. The college has a total student enrolment capacity of 183 and a faculty capacity of 17, which makes for an intimate environment to groom professional teachers. The college currently provides two full-time courses: Teaching Profession courses, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Education (D.Ed).

It follows that the college seeks to provide complete learning solutions within and outside the classroom by availing many facilities to the students. Attached to the campus is a library with a variety of publications for students to develop their reading and research ability. Special teaching laboratories are provided for each department so that the students can get the hands-on experience to implement the theoretical session they have attended. The admission capacity as approved for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course, a two year full time program is one hundred students. The Diploma in Education (D.Ed), another two years full time program has the capacity to enroll fifty students. Each of the courses is intended to prepare students to be competent and efficient teachers. 

Admission to Pragati College of Education is strictly on the basis of merit, following directives from the state government, UT administration and the university to which it is affiliated to. For the B.Ed program, the admission will be strictly on merit of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted by the Mangalam University as well as entrance examination.
