Pravin Gandhi College of Law, established in the year 2004, is one of the most highly known legal education institutes of the bustling city of Mumbai, India. It has a campus on the 8th floor of Mithibai College Campus, Vile Parle West, and has carved a niche in the legal fraternity. This college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and conducts a variety of courses in law for aspiring legal professionals. With an enrolment of a total of 581 students and a faculty of 13, it provides the ideal learning environment.

PGCL has all kinds of modern facilities that would enhance the learning experience of its students. The college library is an academic resources hub, including a spacious and Wi-Fi-enabled environment for research and study purposes. Students have at their disposal large stocks of legal and non-legal journals pertaining to the relevant subject-related reference materials, along with a host of online services that supplement the curriculum. It caters to a wide array of courses in the field of law to suit varied specialisations in the profession of law. The four full-time courses forming part of the academic portfolio under the PGCL include the BA LLB course, LLM in Business Law, LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Administration, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Law and Information Technology. The sanctioned intake for these courses is 230 seats. The flagship five-year BA LLB course has the highest intake of 120 seats preparing students for comprehensive legal education. Both LLM courses in Business Law and Criminal Law and Criminal Administration are given 30 seats each to meet postgraduate education needs that are specialised. The PGD in Cyber Law and IT addresses a growing need for legal expertise within the digital domain with 50 seats.

Pravin Gandhi College of Law selects only the cream of students for various courses. For BA LLB admission, the college considers scores in MHT CET Law and later subjects to a CAP, or Common Admission Process that is managed by State CET Cell. Thus it would ensure fair and competitive admission of aspiring law students. Admission to LLM courses of specialisation Criminal Law and Criminal Administration is merit- and performance-based from the Common Entrance Test of the University of Mumbai.
