Preston Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Gwalior is a young Institute affiliated to internet in 2021. The programmes offered at Preston Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology are 6 full time courses, 1 under graduate and 5 diplomates. The B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is the 3 year Undergraduate Programme which was started with an intake of 60 students. The institute also conducts 2 years diploma courses in Food Production, Bakery and Confectionery, Front Office Operation, Housekeeping Operations and Food and Beverages Service for 40 students each in each consecutive batch. It consist of specialise programme that are offered to facilitate different sector of the hospitality industry that enable student to acquire both theory and practical knowledge.

Preston Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology strictly follows the admission regulation formulated by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). In the case of the B.Sc., eligible candidates are admitted through the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) and through counseling for allotment of Institute on All India basis. NCHM JEE application process generally comes up early in the year, preferably in the first quarter for admissions for the academic year beginning in July or August. For diploma courses, the admission process is direct done by the institute jointly with NCHMCT and IGNOU, New Delhi.
