PRR and VS Government College, Vidavalur, was established in 1965 and is a co-educational college. The affiliated and NAAC-accredited college offers programmes of study at the undergraduate level and is located in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Situated on a sprawling campus of 11.72 acres with a student enrolment of 241 and a faculty of 22, the institute offers six undergraduate courses under three-degree programmes catering to the student interest in the fields of commerce, arts, and sciences. 

PRR and VS Government College is well endowed with infrastructure that extends to almost all types of facilities that are expected to be present for enhancing students' all-round learning experience. Science students might enjoy any of the three B.Sc programmes, one in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science; Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry; and Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science.
