PSR Engineering College is a self financing and autonomous college established in 1998 and is located in Sivakasi, Tamilnadu. Located on 27.9 acres of area, the college provides wide and comprehensive engineering and management education. NAAC accredited & approved by AICTE with a total intake capacity of 2224 & faculty strength is 205. It offers 15 programmes at 3 levels of degrees in different fields of engineering and management.

PSR Engineering College lies equipped with many innovative amenities to maintain the learners’ academic and individual development. The facility has been provided with living accommodation in separate hostels for boys and girls for students who live in the campus. A well-equipped health centre together with a first aid station meets health requirements of the students. The college sports complex, basketball court, built-in tennis court investment entrusted volleyball court, football field, cricket ground to improve the students physical health and sportsmanship. The library act as the information centre that encompasses every type of books including reference books, periodicals, journals as well as electronic resources that include DVDs, VCDs, CDs, videocassettes and Internet. The college possesses a strong IT support and internet connection is at 50 Mbps and the campus is fully WiFi connected making it easy for the students to access information from the internet. There is a large cafeteria where people can find simple and healthy meals and also a stationary store with photocopying equipment.

In total, PSR Engineering College provides its students with 15 courses in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The institute offers 11 undergraduate full time courses and 4 postgraduate courses. Total student enrolment on all courses offered is 2224 with most of the names booked for undergraduate courses. The courses are BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Civil, Biomedical, MBA and so on. 

PSR Engineering College admission procedure main criteria is merit related. For undergraduate engineering programmes, these admissions are through HSC (+2) examination marks and counseling (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai. The college also provides admissions under Management quota also. For postgraduate programmes, the admission offers are taken-off on the basis of Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission for engineering courses and Train and Common Entrance Test for MBA. At present, the MBA entrance examination accepted in the institute is the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).
