PT Vidyadhar Mishra Saraswati Vidya Mandir Vigyan Evam Anusandhan Mahavidyalaya, Pratapgarh, was set up in the year 2010 as an affiliated college in the state of Uttar Pradesh India. It is co-educational institution, situated on a five acre campus and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Its four-degree programmes have a total student enrolment of 726 and there is 21 faculty members of the college. PT Vidyadhar Mishra Saraswati Vidya Mandir Vigyan Evam Anusandhan Mahavidyalaya offers four full-time courses, B.Ed, BA, B.Sc, and D.El.Ed. This intake is approved for these programmes at 600 students per year. The programmes offered at the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) have 250 seats each, and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) have 50 seats for each. These courses are available in agribusiness, humanities, and sciences, as well as for anyone seeking teacher education.

For B.Ed, since the college is a minority institution, 50 percent of the seats are taken through the counseling arranged by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the rest 50 percent are taken up through the test conducted by this college itself. It has total 150 marks (100 for General study and 50 for Hindi). BA and B.Sc admission is given on the basis of marks obtained in the intermediate or equivalent for the seats available for this purpose as prescribed by the Prof Rajendra Singh University Prayagraj. The D.El.Ed programme has a policy of admission laid down by the state government which can involve the scoring of merit or examination.
