PVP Polytechnic of Bangalore holds its roots in the year 1990 and located in the ever growing and vibrant city of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka. Located at Jawaharlal Nehru Road, this affiliated college has been incubating technical brains for over thirty years with its excellence. Recognized by All India Council for Technical Education approved PVP Polytechnic offer wide combination of diploma courses in different branch of engineering. It has an independent campus of 10 acres that afford a perfect setting for academics and personality development. The polytechnic has a total student enrolment of 1131 and a total number of faculty members as 57 so the polytechnic maintains a healthy ratio of student and faculties.
The institute boasts of a fully equipped modern infrastructure in response to its various classes of students. Any library that is well equipped acts as a one stop center for all the literature needed in a given academic pursuit. With good IT facilities provided by the college, students have an excellent opportunity to step up to par with modern technology. Faculty labs catch student’s imagination because it helps shed theory with practicality by offering working departments. For clients who desire an on-campus accomodation, PVP Polytechnic has facilities with separate hostels for male and female students. Sport facilities are erected within the campus, the presence of an auditorium for events and seminar, cafeteria and gym all in place to provide what can be termed as wholistic college experience. To ensure the development of the needed employability skills among the student a Training and Placement Cell is functional all through the year.
Currently, PVP Polytechnic has a total of nine full-time diploma programmes. These courses range from one extreme of the engineering discipline to another and are designed to meet diverse interests and market needs. The college offers Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering etc.
