Situated in the heart of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Pydah Degree College was established in 1991. It is a co-educational institution with numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses diversified across different disciplines. It has a campus of 1 acre and accommodates 614 students on a total enrolment basis. The faculty strength is 26 dedicated members. 

One of the things of which Pydah Degree College is very proud is its state-of-the-art facilities to help raise its students' learning experience. At the hub of these facilities is a well-stacked library of over 35,000 textbooks available online, complemented by access to more than 250 journals. To support this physical library, there is a digital and electronically enabled library resource with a large number of textbooks and reference literature. For the students who have an aptitude and interest in sports and physical fitness, there is good infrastructure available in Pydah Degree College for cricket, hockey, football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Indoor sports facilities are also available in terms of carrom, chess, and table tennis. A fully equipped gym is available to meet the fitness requirements of students. 

Pydah Degree College offers a total of 9 courses, out of which 6 are undergraduate programmes, and the rest are postgraduate programmes. All the courses will be full-time regular programmes orientated to provide in-depth knowledge with associated practical skills in respective fields.
