The college has 110 seats for the B.Com Hons programme. Pydah Degree College admission is on the basis of the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2). Students having a commerce background are preferred; however, students from other streams are eligible to apply.
Pydah Degree College admission for B.Sc Computer Science Hons is based on merit with 88 seats good for 10+2 levels. Here merit is calculated with weightage given to mathematics scoring and computer science marks. Some degree of programming ability may be another admission consideration.
There are 50 seats available in the college for this B.Sc Statistics Hons course. Pydah Degree College admission is being provided on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th standard with special consideration to the subjects of mathematics and statistics. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong mathematical background.
There are 50 seats available in the B.Sc Electronics Hons course, and admission is based on the marks obtained in the 12th standard in Physics and Mathematics, with a keen interest in electronics as a plus point.
Each of these two programmes , B.Sc Physics Hons and B.Sc Mathematics Hons, has 46 seats. Selection will strictly be based on marks secured in Physics and Mathematics in the qualifying examination.
With 30 seats, the B.Com Computer Applications Hons programme combines commerce with computer applications. Pydah Degree College admission is based on 12th standard marks, with emphasis on commerce and computer science subjects.
Both the M.Sc Statistics and M.Sc Organic Chemistry postgraduate programmes have 30 seats each. Pydah Degree College admission is on the basis of the candidates' scores in the relevant bachelor's degree. While for M.Sc Statistics a B.Sc in Statistics or Mathematics is preferred, for admission to M.Sc Organic Chemistry a B.Sc in Chemistry will have to be completed.
