Rachana Sansad Academy of Architecture was established in the year 1955 by Prof C.K. Gumaste, Prof. S.H. Wandrekar and Prof. V.G. Mhatre. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The college provides high-quality education in the Arts, Humanities & Social Science and Engineering & Architecture streams. 

The college offers various courses at the undergraduate level such as B.Arch and B.Voc. The duration of Academy of Architecture Mumbai courses ranges from 4 to 5 years.
