Rahul Institute of Engineering and Technolog or RIET, Behrampur, is one of the premier institution situated in Tatadapalli village, Golanthra Jn., Konisi Tehsil, Berhampur, Odisha. This co-educational institute was set up in 2009 and has been effectively training youths to be engineers over the years. RIET has a variety of programmes namely the Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech that is offered in many engineering branches. This fine and technical institute prides itself in offering quality technical education in many courses offered with the institute’s offering of state-of-art facilities.

RIET has numerous learning facilities as a way of supporting the student’s learning process besides their overall development. The campus has been provided with distant students’ hostels separately for boys and girls. In order to meet the health needs of people who are interested in keeping fit, the institute has a good gym facilities. The library is an information centre comprising various teaching and learning resources to support students in their academics. To counter the ever-growing advancement in technology, RIET has strived to put down strong I.T. facilities. Students are also able to take time and socialise at the cafeteria that is located within the campus since it is the students’ favourite place.

In all, the institute has 6 full time B.Tech programmes and the duration takes four years each. These programmes include important areas of engineering and help students follow a flexible academic track in response to their preference or goals. The offered courses are B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. All these programmes have been approved for an enrolment of 60 enrolments, meaning that there is a cumulative of 360 enrolments of all the B.Tech courses offered at the institute. 

RIET maintains a formal procedure to admission of its B.Tech programmes. The institute may use examination scores in qualifying tests and could offer an aptitude test as an entrance requirement or scores from any of the well-known engineering entrance tests.
