The Rajiv Gandhi Arts and Science College located in Thavalakuppam, Puducherry, was founded in 1995. This affiliated college has spread in an area of 5 acres and it impart education mostly in the B.A, B.Com and B.Sc faculties. The college has a total of student enrollment of 816 and a total strength of faculties/Brothers Thirty Two to facilitate the best environment for the aspiring students. Affiliated to the Pondicherry University, Rajiv Gandhi College of Arts and Science,Government College is one of the prime institutions in educational map of Puducherry and has got accreditation from NAAC.

Rajiv Gandhi Arts and Science College provides five total undergraduate programs altogether, all of which are only the full-time programs. They include B.Com, cooperative management, B.Sc computer science, BCA – Bachelor of computer applications and BBA – Bachelor of business administration. All of these three-year degree programs provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for successful career in the respective tiers.
