    Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, commonly known as RGCE, was started in the year 2001 at Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college, which is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education or AICTE, provides engineering courses in many fields. The college is situated on a 26-acre campus, in which the college has a favorable environment for achieving academic and personality development. With regards to the student patronage, the college admits 861 students while employing a faculty of 88; thus, there is a substantial student-faculty ratio of 9:01, a promise for quality education.

    The college has produced a wide and modern resource base for the improvement of the learning environment and personality development of the students. The computerized library is also well stocked to meet students and academic needs; it also provides books and e-journal facilities to meet the academic challenges.
