Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Government College, Joginder Nagar, affiliated with Cogent University Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, was established in 1994. Built on 6 acres of land, this is a government institution that, in a way, has been participating in providing education for the region for almost three decades now. As a matter of fact, the college earned accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which is a clear testimony of the efforts taken to sustain the academic quality of the college. This involves programs that cover undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels, both government-aided and self-financed; twenty-two traditional courses and sixteen self-financed courses. The college offers full-time courses in the arts, science, commerce, and management streams. Some of the courses offered are BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BCA, MA English, MA Economics, and B.Sc. Physical Science Self-Finance.
