Rajkiya Engineering College, Gonda  has been recently established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2023 offering 4-year undergraduate B.Tech. programme in four disciplines, viz Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering with an annual intake of 60 in each discipline. The B.Tech. course in all four disciplines is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. 

During its first academic session 2023-24, the college will operate from the fully residential campus of its mentor institution, Rajkiya Engineering College, Sonbhadra. The 30 acres campus comprises of an administrative block, academic blocks, a workshop, hostels for boys and girls with cooperative mess, student activity centre, canteen, health centre, gym, 24/7 electricity and water supply and other sports and recreational facilities. The curriculum is designed to meet industry standards, covering core areas such as algorithms, programming, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and software engineering. Students gain hands-on experience through projects, internships, and hackathons. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence, innovation, and skill development, the department prepares students for careers in IT, research, and entrepreneurship.
