Rajputana Unani Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur, is an ancient college providing Unani medicine education, which was established in 1926. The affiliated college is situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and is approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM). Located on a 3-acre plot of land, the college has two specific courses in Unani medicine. The institute itself is quite compact, which is indicative of a total student strength of fifty students and a faculty strength of twenty-seven members.

Rajputana Unani Medical College Hospital and Research Centre resources include a number of facilities that help to improve the mastering process as well as students’ condition. A first-aid facility equipped health centre is present within the campus for any emergency cases that occur. This very large library stocks over 6000 books and is a source of knowledge for both the students and the different members of staff. The BUMS programme recognised earlier is our flagship course; the programme has been approved to have fifty students’ intake per year. This Unani system of medicine is perfect as a degree course, and it takes six years to fulfil this course. Another course is the Diploma in Tabib-Fazil, which has a thousand-course period, and they can also join the Unani medical practices.

The courses offered in Rajputana Unani Medical College Hospital and Research Centre can be taken by students who complete the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). This is a national-level examination whereby the aspiring students are given a window to study the BUMS programme.
