One of the premier institutions that imparts pharmaceutical education is Rakshpal Bahadur College of Pharmacy, Bareilly. The affiliated college was established in the year 2004 and located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Quality education in the field of pharmacy at RBCP Bareilly is ensured with approvals from AICTE and PCI. The College, sprawling over a 2.83-acre campus, runs 4 courses with a total enrolment of 428 students at three different degree levels. RBCP Bareilly offers a wide range of all-rounded programmes in the arena of pharmacy education. These include 4 full-time courses: B.Pharma, D.Pharma, and two specialisations at the M.Pharma level. B.Pharma is a 4-year program with an intake capacity of 100 seats. The institution offers a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy with 60 seats. At the postgraduate level, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry are offered with 9 seats each; it is also a 2-year course. These courses have been so designed as to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to prove oneself in the pharmaceutical industry.

The admission process in the RBCP Bareilly is different for different programs. In B.Pharma, admissions are mainly done on the basis of merit of SEE MTU / GBTU examinations. The admissions to D. Pharma are done on the basis of direct admission and also according to the merit of UPJEE. Whereas, in M. Pharma courses, first preference will be given to those applicants who have scored 60% marks and qualified in GATE. The college also considers the non-GATE-qualified ones in affiliated colleges where AICTE and the university have approved the M.Pharm course.
