Ramchandi Mahavidyalaya, Saraipali, Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh came into existence in the year 2003. This is a co-educational affiliated college with an area of 5  acres of campus. It offers 11 courses across 9 degrees. The NCTE-approved institution has a total enrolment of 378 students, and it is also supported by 21 faculty members. Ramchandi Mahavidyalaya is a co-educational institution that delivers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses with specialisations in the streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, and Computer Applications. 

A number of facilities helps make learning a fulfilling experience for students within this college. These facilities are led at the forefront by a well-stocked library that aspires to be the premier centre for learning in Raipur city. Ramchandi Mahavidyalaya also has ultra-modern IT infrastructure, with well-equipped computer labs comprising more than 100 desktops interlinked in a Local Area Network. RamChandi Mahavidyalaya runs 11 courses in undergraduate and postgraduate categories. It include full-time courses like BA, B.Com, B.Sc with Mathematics, Biology, and Computer Science specialisations, B.Ed, M.Com, MA Hindi, PGDCA, DCA, and B.P.Ed.

The admission procedure in RamChandi Mahavidyalaya is different for different courses. For most of the programmes, it is merit-based marks obtained in the qualifying examination. However, for special courses like B.Ed and B.P.Ed, it reaches a larger extent. B.Ed admissions are made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the policies framed by the state government and the university. In the same way, the admission procedure for B.P.Ed. includes a written test, a fitness test, an interview, and percentage in the qualifying examination. The college adopts the admission policy prescribed by the state government and the affiliating university.
