Ran Vijay Smarak Mahavidyalaya (RVSM), is one of the premier educational institution, established in 1982 at Bokaro Steel city, Jharkhand. This affiliated college which spans over five acres of land has been recording tremendous achievement in higher learning for the last forty years. RVSM is NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accredited which makes the university reciprocate the quality it offers. In total the college has 3,078 learners and 49 faculty members who teach 22 different courses across 8 programmes. Both the colleges of RVSM offers specialisation in various faculties like Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Applications besides Management.

college infrastructure is decent. It has good lighting facilities fans, library ,hostel facilities and a canteen. Not many varieties in a canteen. Sports ground is poor. Mess facilities is good .You can join college if you want freedom.
