Rao B.Ed. College, Alwar is a private college, Affiliated to PT. DEV BHOOMI SHIVAGRISHNAGAR UNIVERSITY was established in 2007, College is uniquely committed to providing quality teacher education. It is co-educational Institute situated at the Kothi Narayan Pur, Thesil-Rajgarh, Alwar district of Rajasthan; It occupies a land area of 1.21 Acre. The college, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers two full-time courses: Under graduate programme includes Bachelors of Education and Post Graduate Programme includes Diploma in education. The student strength is 197 and the faculty strength is 25 which makes Rao B.Ed College one of the best education Institutes that offer focused learning.

Rao B.Ed. College has equipped itself in both physical and virtual amenities that seek the development of students’ learning environment. A number of books are stocked to support knowledge needs of the students in a spacious library, and different requisite laboratory facilities are also available for different capacities of education. They comprise the psychology Lab, Science Lab, Education Lab, Computer Lab, work education lab, and the Physical education Lab. From the courses offered in this Institution, Rao B.Ed. College provide two key courses in the education field. The B.Ed programme welcomes 100 students while the D.Ed programme will allow 50 seats. Both these programmes are full time course of two years however HAC conducts it as two years of full time course integrated with semester system.
