One such institution is Rashbehari College of Education, founded in 2012 and located at Patanda, Panskura, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. This co-educational institution is an affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The compact campus measures 0.66 acres, and the college has two specialized programs in education with a total enrolment of 362 students. The student-to-teacher ratio is very congenial with its 33 faculty members. 

The college has several amenities to provide for enriching the learning processes of the students. The well-stocked library has more than 29,500 books, 12 journals, and 16 periodicals, together with a collection of CDs and DVDs. It provides reading, lending, and book-bank facilities with modern cataloging and indexing systems. Rashbehari College of Education offers two full-time courses: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) and D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education).
