72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, and offered by the Rayat Bahra University, Mohali.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed an M.Sc. in a relevant stream from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or 45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) to be eligible for admission. UGC-NET qualified candidates will be admitted through an interview, while non-UGC-NET candidates must appear for an entrance examination followed by an interview as part of the selection process.
