Affiliated college Regency Institute of Technology (RIT) was started in the year 2000 at Yanam, Puducherry, India. For two decades now, this prestigious institution has been preparing the future engineers and managers or whatever their heart desires. Located in Adivipolam, Yanam with the pin code- 533 464, RIT provides both quality education and infrastructure. Presently the institute possesses 73 faculties who are dedicated towards their profession and committed to provide proper care and concern to the students. RIT at the moment, has five different courses spread across two degree programmes; engineering and management.

There are many modern facilities in Regency Institute of Technology, which helps students to have a comfortable training and overall development process. The boys and the girls are housed separately in hostel facilities where the institute has the accommodation capacity of 800 students. These hostels have well equipped amenities with Solar Water Heating System, Gym, Sports room, TV rooms and a Yogalay room. A complete round the clock transport services and emergency response system provide safety and security to students. The campus also hosts a professionally staffed Medical centre, with doctors on the premises for emergencies. Also in line with enhancing student’s campus experience extra-curricular facilities such as sports facilities, a facility for holding events and seminars, and a canteen complete the list.

The institute extends only five courses all of which are under full time programme. There are four B.Tech programmes in computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical and electronics engineering and MBA programme. All of these courses are aimed at giving students broad subject knowledge and practical experience in the corresponding field throughout their studies in order to ensure their professional success in the technologically and business-focused world today.
