The JEXPO exam tests prospective students in their ability to compete with the knowledge of subjects concerning the engineering study. The exam usually covers subject areas of Mathematics, Physical Science, and English. Eligibility for admission into RIST's diploma courses is successful completion of 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. In addition, students must have undertaken compulsory subjects of Mathematics and Physical Science.
Application Process
The process of application to Regent Institute of Science and Technology is inclusive of a series of steps:
1. JEXPO Registration: Candidates first need to register themselves for the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO) conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.
2. JEXPO Exam: Candidates should appear for the JEXPO exam on the scheduled date.
3. Results Declared: The candidates need to wait for the announcement of results for JEXPO by the examining authority.
4. Counselling Registration: Qualified candidates would need to register for their most favorite institute and course as per preferences in the centralized counselling to be conducted by the Board of Technical Education, West Bengal.
