The college campus is really large area wise. You will get some really good friends and enjoy the college life if you are living outside the college that is if you are not living in the college hostel. Because I am living outside. There are clubs or societies in the college . we celebrate college fests. The location of the campus is outside the city but not very far so at an appropriate place to make the study experience good without the chaos of the city.

Academics are same in all colleges under ASTU but JEC is a bit more hectic than other colleges because of strict internal exams and strict attendance policy of 75% .The classes begin from morning 8:00am which is the real pain.

Placements aren't great here If you are the topper then you'll get placed in PSUs with a good package and few private companies also hire at decent packages but majority service based companies don't offer good package.PSUs such as NRL,OIL,ONGC does visits the campus and JEC is progressing and improving it's placement significantly.

Campus Life depends on individual to individual for me it's pretty good but people from big cities might feel bored here.Campus size is also decent there's a lake or pond (whatever you consider it) inside the campus right infront of the administrative building aka old building giving it a mesmerizing view . Life outside campus might not be happening because Jorhat is a small town and has limited facilities.There are very few places where you can enjoy your weekends.

SVKM's Institute of Technology ,Dhule has all the necessary infrastructure which is required for the Students. The College Building is fully Air-Conditioned with the help of Centralized Air-Conditioning. It's Classroom have the capacity of 60 to 70 students per classroom along the SmartScreen and Swivel Chairs for seating. College has all the necessary labs and equipment for every subject which is being taught in the College. College is Fully Wi-Fi Enabled along with your individual ID's.

College offers B.Tech Course and I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Engineering. Quality of Teaching is really good here. Professors are friendly , supportive and encouraging . There are also the Placement Training given to students which I think starts from 3rd Year of Engineering.
