Lots of opportunities in facilities and infrastructure are available in our department. Classrooms are in good condition and hygienic, and labs have every equipment required for the experiments. In the previous academic year, i.e., in 2019-2020, the placement rate of EE branch in NIT Rourkela was 100%. In the current academic year, about 50% of the students got placed until now in top companies like Microsoft, Qualcomm, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric, Goldman Sachs, etc. The highest salary package offered was about LPA, and the lowest salary package offered varies around 5 LPA-6 LPA. Hostels have the Wi-Fi facility which is slightly slow ranging up to few mbps. The quality of food in the mess is not that great and many hostellers rely on the canteens which each hostel has where food is strictly average. From the medical facilities point of view, NIT Rourkela offers you a medical center which is open 24 X 7 which also includes an ambulance incase of emergency.there are so many grounds for basketball, badminton, football, cricket, volleyball etc and a very large swimming pool

JU have good infrastructure, having all required facilities like Drinking Water to Electricity , Board and Chalk to Projector in Every class and all required equipments. Laboratory contains all type of equipment required and all type of machines or computers in each. Each department contains it's own Library instead of CENTRAL LIBRARY. It has Sports Centre , 2nd Campus have CRICKET GROUND also , with well maintenance. In case of cleaning I would rate 3.5 out of 5.

Placement is very fine . Approximately 60-75% students got placement from college or PPO. Highest package offered is of 58LPA (by GOOGLE to a student from COMPUTER SCIENCE) . Average Package of CSE is 20.77LPA and Metallurgy is 5.67LPA . This is data of 2020 BATCH.

There's no extra curricular activities in the campus. Teacher speaks hindi all the time rather english which is unprofessional in english medium. Staffs are very supportive. Location is really good but it could lack in emergencies.

You are not allowed to exit the hostel after 10 PM but in case of any medical emergency, you are allowed to go to the nearest (SRM hospital) which is open 24/7 for everyone.

CSE is the best branch in SRMist. lecturers are very liberal not only in teaching and evaluating the answer scripts but also in maintaining the secrecy of exam question papers. I think CSE staff members are very polite. SRM University has a strength of at least 10,000 students in which there is approx 60-70 student in a section which is quite good and the faculty is very cooperative

About 500 companies visit our campus for recruitment. Some companies visit here more than once for different job roles, but our college adds those companies names to the total count of the companies that visit here. If you have an academic percentage of 80% and above in your course, then they let you attend placements in 95% of companies. If you have a percentage of over 70%, then they make you attend placements in 70% of companies.

Huge campus the campus is very big and there are a lot of cool buildings to see, the infrastructure is top class. Every floor has canteen and adequate RO Drinking water outlets are available. There are elevator facilities in every building All classrooms have SMART learning tools, they have a projector and screen for interactive learning. NO RAGGING
