Infrastructure is not so good but the overall experience is great. the WiFi facilities we have in our college is not good, they are not working but the smart boards are working and we also have black boards in the same class.
I'm doing Bcom from this college and the quality of teaching is very good YES, our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes, what I'm studying is making me job-ready.
Our college is good at the placement cell. The students above 6 cgpa were placed only and the highest salary package is around 6 LPA for the students with commerce background. Average salary is 2.5 - 3 LPA.
Fest season is the best I have experienced and all the college events like Lohri and all are amazing.
You can join this college if you want to have a good future career
The Infrastructure for the program focuses more on practical needs than appearance. Technical classrooms are arranged to support computer-based learning, and lab access is provided for regular coding practice and daily coursework.
The Teaching system focuses on daily learning rather than pressure before exams. Lessons are conducted in a clear and well-paced manner, allowing students to understand topics easily. Faculty members are supportive and offer guidance whenever students face challenges.
Training sessions, interview practice, and skill classes help students feel confident during job selection. A good number of students successfully obtain appropriate positions and begin their careers on a positive note.
The Infrastructure for the B.Com program at Meerut College is simple and slightly outdated. Classrooms are adequate for routine lectures, but many are missing modern instructional tools, which reduces the scope for interactive learning.
Teaching mainly relies on a traditional classroom approach, with very few practical commerce-related examples. Although classes are conducted regularly, student participation is limited, and modern teaching techniques are seldom applied.
The B.Com placement system at Meerut College provides very little campus exposure. Few companies take part, and placement drives do not happen often. Although the college shares some job-related information, proper career planning and placement training are missing.
We have a very very very good infrastructure in my college. And good sports complex which is huge and comfortable for playing games and in our central library, there is facility of Wi-fi which has not good speed. Smart boards are not working properly. Lb equipments are well maintained for for basic lab. Hostel mess is worst.
We have very well academics in our college.Faculty members of my section are really supportive and friendly with students. And after that curriculum is updated and yeah it makes us job-ready. In our academics the quality of teaching is excellent.
Placement system is average because the average CTC that companies offers in our college is 3.25 lakh - 7 lakh. But if you want to go for good CTC. You should work hard and try for off campus placement. But CRC team is really supportive.
The infrastructure of management school is good. As it fulfills all the necessary requirements for the students. They have library ,auditorium, cafeterias at different places. Greenary can be seen everywhere.
I would say that the academics are good in terms of syllabus. But evaluation of faculty is not really good while they do not give fare marks This academy creates pressure on both students and faculty as they do not schedule events , exams for students well
The placement cell is average as the roi is not very excellent, the campus opportunities are available for limited roles only hugely on marketing and sales and then in finance Would not recommend this college if you are looking for a good placement from college
As per me the campus life is something that can be appreciated as there are weekly cultural event such as talent , flashmob on Wednesdays students show their talents Exhibit themselves and have fun on Wednesdays But again you might have classes on Wednesdays too. Again same issue the university doesn't plan for the students well
The college system is very rigid and runs without empathy. The university doesn't understand students problem or neither would give a solution for your problem . Sometimes they even go blind and only held the student responsible for something that's not even their fault. They expect students to be as rigid as soldiers , while we are just youth trying to live a dream
My college's infrastructure is decent. There is a huge campus, a big play ground and a sports complex where we can play indoor and outdoor games. We have a central library which has many facilities like fully air conditioned, modern seating and all books that we need during academic and other preparation books. In our lab all the basic equipments are provided for practicals.
All the faculty members are friendly, supportive and open to help. You can reach out easily to them if you need any help with respective region. Our college's curriculum is updated and they develop themself with time. Yes what I read , it makes me job-ready.
Placement system of my college is really good and supportive. From our first year, we are known for internships we often talks about it in our college with teachers and we have sessions for good placement support. The CRC team is very supportive. In my college the average package is 3-9 lakh per annum.
Interms of infrastructure it was quite good at that time we had good libraries with all the books in stovk the building structure was also very good at that time and it was a good atmosphere to study.
Academica wiss it was one of the most prestigious colleges of that time we had a lot of good professors to teach us we could ask any doubt and question and they trisd their best to answer and solve our doubts
Placement wise also this was very good thouhh at that time there were very less private companiws but we had opportunities in government sector and various governmental departments offered jobs because of this college
It has large campus around 150 acres with academic blocks, hostels, staff residences, and green spaces. it has laboratories centarl library computer centre Auditorium and seminar Halls. it has multiple boys hostel and girl's hostel with Wi-Fi facilities, canteen, Banking and ATM within campus.
I am a B.tech computer science and engineering student. In first year there were regular classes and labs but now in 2nd year we less classes and labs, so we can't be dependent on teachers, have to study on our own.
Best placement outcomes for CSE/IT. Core engineering placements are limited. High packages mostly for top performing students. Self-effort (coding, internship) is crucial. Many students also opt foe GATE, PSU prep, or higher studies.
campus life at IET Lucknow is active, balanced, and student driven. it may not be flashy like private universities, but it offers a strong academic environment, freedom, and memorable college experiences. many fests and departmental events, technical events and hackathons are organized throughout the year.
I am really satisfied with the infrastructure. The classrooms are modern, and the hotels are clean with good wi-fi, and the mess provides hygienic and decent food. This campus is one of the largest among all the IIMs (210 acres)
I am studying BMS (hons). This course provides a strong foundation in management that supports my career goal. The faculty is good, and the curriculum is also well designed. The academic is a bit hectic and sometimes includes classes on Sundays.
The highest package of my college is INR 64.12 lakhs, and the average package is INR 13.3 lakhs. Top recruiters are Accenture, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, Amazon, etc. As for BMS Hons placement, don't have much of an idea because we are the first batch of this course.
Campus life is going well. Hostel life with friends feels more fun and comfortable. Sometimes the academic pressure becomes high, but overall, everything is great:)
Our college have great infrastructure from computer labs to well functioning library. We have a pretty great integration of nature in our campus. This is a breath of fresh air in the midst of the stressful life of an engineering student. We also have separate hostels for men and women and also have canteen, department stores etc
Our faculty are really nice and helpful. They encourage us to go beyond our curriculum and do more projects. These definitely help us to get into the highly competitive tech industries. Our new improved syllabus is also more focused on skill improvement and is more projects oriented.
Our college have a pretty good placement percentage and these vary for different departments. We have a placement cell which organise placement training from the semester 1 helping students to gain experience and skills. And I believe this is one the reason for the pretty placement in our college. Companies like infosys, cognizant etc all visit our campus to recruit talents
One of the main reason I chose this college was because of the strong alumni and connections. Apart from studies our college also have art and culturals like mudra and advay and we also have sports programs for students who have talent in sports. I chose this course because I knew It was something I truly enjoyed and I knew choosing this college was going to help me be more efficient.
Campus is big enough. Classrooms are large and fresh, but smart boards in some rooms don't work. Labs are available for all branches. Some machines are old and hang sometimes. The library is big and quiet. Wi-Fi is not working sometimes. Sports grounds are available and used by students.Food in the mess is very simple.
I am studying engineering because I was not interested in commerce field and was interested in computers. Teaching quality is mixed. Some professors are good but some are not. The syllabus follows university rules, but does not match current industry needs.
Placements are average at the college. Around 50-55% of students get placed. Core company visits are limited, so many students apply for off campus. The average package is around ₹3 LPA, and the highest package went is ₹8LPA.
It's a nice experience
The Somaiya Vidyavihar campus (including management, science, commerce, arts, and engineering colleges) is praised for good classrooms, libraries, labs, Wi-Fi, sports, cafeterias, hostel facilities and a pleasant campus environment
Most students find the teaching faculty knowledgeable; professional courses (management, commerce, and IT) are seen as more up-to-date. Some reviews do call for better governance on attendance and enforcement of academic rigor.
Strong placement record: ~95% placement rate with highest packages up to ₹27–28 LPA and averages around ₹12–14 LPA. Recruiters include Deloitte, EY, Amazon, etc. Placement rates reportedly 70–95% with average packages ~₹4-10 LPA and occasional higher offers.
Festivals & activities: Annual fests like KJSMF and Avenues add energy and opportunities for creative engagement
The guest house building is very well maintained for the accomodation of parents. Solar panel is installed every where in the campus to promote sustainable development. Hostel rooms are airy and have balcony .
The method of teaching promote imagination on particular topics among the students and develops interest towards the particular topic. Practicals being performed are explained properly to student and develop the level of thinking behind the practical being performed.
College doesn't provide placement at good package.Student often sits on off campus placement. Mostly students go in research field rather than expecting for placement. I suggest to students do not come for placement purpose.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure like smartboard, blackboard, Whiteboard ,wifi etc. Sometimes Wifi don't work properly. There is sports ground which we can use.Labs are there though not modern.Food is hygienic.
I am studying engineering because I have interest in this field.Quality of teaching is not bad but not good also. Curriculum is as per MU so not very modern. What we study is not enough for job ready. We have to do extra project and internship for placement.
Since I am still not placed so I don't know much of placement but as heard by seniors the quality is not so good but moderate.55-60% students gets placed.Average salary goes around 4LPA and highest salary depends on student to student but is mostly for computer branch.
Campus Life is moderate. Not very enjoyable but not boring also.Clubs and committees are there in which Students can participate.Teachers are good and students are also friendly.College is safe but is far away from local station.
College infrastructure is nice and has peaceful environment. Light and water facilities are available everywhere properly like hostels, departments and administration building. Separate hostels are made for seniors and juniors.
Academics is very excellent. Seminars are arranged for students to boost their knowledge. My department of culture and media studies makes me job - ready for giving me practical knowledge in this field.
Placement is not so good in culture and media studies. Placement cell is not active for students. If students has the potential to gain knowledge then professor help them in placing them in different companies through their recommendations.
Banasthali has good infrastructure in terms of campus size, academic buildings, hostels, libraries, and sports facilities. Everything required for basic student needs is available inside the campus. However, since students are not allowed to go outside, the infrastructure feels limiting rather than empowering. Despite having facilities, the restricted environment reduces interaction with the real world and practical exposure.
Academics are structured and the syllabus is usually completed on time. Faculty members are knowledgeable and professional. However, learning is mostly theoretical, with limited industry-oriented exposure. There are fewer opportunities to interact with professionals outside campus, which affects overall skill development and confidence required for the real world.
Placements are a major drawback. There is no strong or dedicated placement cell for many courses. Students are largely dependent on self-efforts for internships and jobs. Due to the university’s remote location and strict campus rules, corporate exposure, networking, and placement opportunities are very limited.
Campus life is disciplined but highly restricted. Hostel stay is compulsory, and students are not allowed to go out freely, which limits independence and real-life exposure. While cultural events and festivals are organized inside campus, the absence of freedom makes campus life feel controlled rather than enriching.
Hostel life is compulsory, and most students are allotted 3-seater rooms. If you get compatible roommates, hostel life can be manageable or even enjoyable; otherwise, it can become mentally exhausting. The network connectivity is very poor, making communication, online learning, and internships difficult. The university is located in the outskirts, far from cities and corporate hubs, which further restricts exposure, internships, and professional growth
My classroom is spacious as well as the lounging area is also comfortable, there is a ground which is absolutely well maintained. And the college provides us library with wifi in almost every corners of college.
The professors are well versed with their core subjects and the quality of teaching is also great. The professors holds phd degrees, and the college has updated and modern curriculum for teaching, so ya it is great.
The placements remains average because the college provides a number of internships but it does not provide any specific placements. The students who have done better internships and if they get the ppo then only they can achieve placements.
IHM Shimla has a beautiful British-era architectural structure that gives the campus a classic and heritage feel. The building is solid, well designed, and surrounded by scenic hills. During winters, the snow-covered view from the campus is breathtaking and creates a unique learning environment. The combination of heritage infrastructure and natural beauty makes the college stand out.
The academic structure at IHM Shimla is well planned and industry oriented. Faculty members are experienced and focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Regular practical sessions, presentations, and assessments help in building strong fundamentals. The curriculum also supports personality development and professional discipline.
Placements at IHM Shimla have been outstanding this year with 100% placement for my entire batch. Top national and international hotel brands recruit from the campus, including opportunities in destinations like Dubai and the USA. The college provides strong support through training, grooming sessions, and interview preparation, helping students secure placements in reputed hotels worldwide.
Campus life at IHM Shimla has been one of the most beautiful phases of my life. I stayed in the hostel during my first year, and that’s where I found my best friends who became like family. Living in Shimla, surrounded by hills, fresh air, and peaceful vibes, makes every day special. The snowfall season is unforgettable—the cold mornings, white views, laughter with friends, and small adventures together. These moments turned college life into lifelong memories.
It's totally worth it,I preferred that always take admission in hills station this is the best lifetime experience you ever had the unforgettable memories you make and I'm sure you never regret later
The College Infrastructure is so well as it provides all the basic facilities and equipments as I am a student of BCA the college provides the latest computer models and provides high Connectivity wifi.
Their professors mostly are who holds master degree and some of them are holding phd as well, they have great knowledge of their core subject And the teaching quality is very well so yeah I can rate the academics as more than average.
There is no cell as specific for placements but there are some Internships which the college provides . So, yeah the college basically provides internship but it does not provide any kind of placements.
Things are getting better like earlier it was not that much but now the things are getting Good and the college's infrastructure is getting better...Now the smart boards are installed and also new AC and other facilities are made available...
Like academic not so well the work load was initially not that much but in recent days the attendence compulsion rule is just making things hectic...like now you have to attend classes from 10 to 6 leaving no time to study on your own
Talking to placements not so much hope for any branch like even for CSE or other branches the placement record has never been that good then other government colleges of other states...like if you dont prepare for gate or offcampus you can be destroyed
Earlier There was ragging issues in the college but now nothing is there like you can enjoy campus life...
no
