Royal College of Education for Women, Madurai was set up in 2007 and is a pioneer of academic standards in Tamil Nadu. This co educational institution is located in Thanichiyam, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai and is established with the objective to produce future teacher. It falls under category of affiliated college, therefore, though is bound by the national policies in its operations, it has its own college personality.
