RP Inderaprastha Institute of Technology, Karnal is one of the premier educational institutes established in the year 2008. This affiliated college is located at Bastara, Karnal, Haryana and is sprawled over 5 acres of land. The RPIIT is AICTE-approved and offers quality education to its learners in several technical streams. It offers a total of 7 courses related to 4 degree programs. It has a total enrolment capacity of 235 and the faculty stands at 26.

The admission process for RPIIT varies from one program to another. In the case of B.Tech courses, entrance examination scores are at the core of the criteria. Engineering entrance examinations conducted at either the national level or state level have their scores accepted by this institute. For the MBA program, the admission is according to scores in either CMAT or MAT tests, followed by composite evaluation. For its M.Tech programs, the GATE scores play a major role during the time of selecting students.
