RR Educational Trust’s College of Education, Mumbai was set up in the year 2004 is a well known institute with the prime focus to carve the future of education. Situated in the MHADA Colony of Mulund East, Mumbai this is a co-educational college which also has a dedicated focus in providing education towards teacher training. It is a 1.33 acre affiliated college college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE). The college has a diverse student population of 124 students and faculty staff of eleven thereby promoting close learning. 

RR Educational Trust’s College of Education currently only offers two courses for degree, with an aim of producing competent teachers for the future learning institutions. A number of facilities are available at the college aimed at improving the learning of the students in the college. A library as a learning resource centre is central to stocking materials crucial for the preparation of teachers. It also holds different occasions and seminars to support the academic life in the university. The college belongs to modern education and the students are familiar with the IT equipment and teaching facilities. Play grounds are implicated in the health aspects while laboratory encourage the practical tips. The Training and Placement Cell is involved with career counselling and placement of students, organising campus interviews and the recruitment activities of organisations interested in its students. Also, we have Spacer workshops and other co-curricular activities as part of the development of students who attend our college. An active Alumni Association is essential as it fosters a good connection of carry forward students. 

RR Educational Trust's College of Education offers two full-time courses: two year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme. The B.Ed programme a flagship course of the institute is offered with an approved annual intake of one hundred students. The aforementioned programmes are tailored to make sure that students get the appropriate knowledge and skills as they seek hire in teaching careers, as will reflect the quality of the Institute in offering education in teacher training.

The admission process in RR Educational Trust’s College of Education is on the basic principles of merit with due regard to the policy rules and regulations of the state government, UT Administration and the affiliated university. Selection procedure for the B.Ed programme depends on the merit of the qualifying examination and/or entrance test results. The same procedure is practiced for the D.El.Ed programme too whereas merit is calculated on merit on the basis of qualifying examination or entrance test. The college also complies with any other admission processes as required by the government or any other policy making body.
