Ruckmoni College of Nursing, Trivandrum was set up in 2006, it comes under Affiliated College situated at Ponnambi, Vellarada, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Thus, this is a co-educational institute affiliated to the Indian Nursing Council (INC) providing standard nursing education. Stretching over an area of four acres of land, the college at the present has 154 student enrolment and has the faculty of 19 members. Ruckmoni College of Nursing conducts only one course on B. Sc Nursing, and the college has given prime importance to health sectors.

Ruckmoni College of Nursing has many infrastructural amenities to enhance the achievements of its students in all facets of their lives. The on campus library is a major source of learning for the students and a place where a rich stock of updated editions of books/national/ International journals/Theses etc are easily available. For practical training purpose there is well equipped departmental laboratories of the college. The health needs of students are treated by doctors belonging to the mother’s institution, Ruckmoni Memorial Devi Hospital. It also offers sports and computing opportunities so as to cater for most of the education needs of students in the college. As part of the arrangement for convenience, Ruckmoni College of Nursing avails hostel facilities for both male and female students who come from far away districts and other states and these hostels come with basic facilities and full staff attendance .

Ruckmoni College of Nursing currently has only one full fledged course which is the B. Sc Nursing course of 4 years full time duration. For this programme , the college has been accorded an intake capacity of fifty students because they strive to keep a healthy student to facilitator ratio as well as constantly attend to each student individually. It also maintains this stratum of focused direction which enables the institution to offer quality nursing education and train effective health care human capital.
