    RVS College of Engineering, situated at Dindigul in Tamil Nadu state, India, was started in the year 1985. This is an affiliated college approved by AICTE located on a vast area of 17.2 acres. The enrolment capacity is 740; faculty: 135; 20 courses/3 levels. The college has a mutual sex-preference balance whereby 839 are male students and 217 are female students.

    RVS College of Engineering has a great fully equipped array of facilities to help the institute make student learning more effective. The campus comprises a separate hall of residence for boys and girls to enhance the comfort and security of the residence. A well-stocked library, sophisticated laboratories, and a computerised world of information technology help in the academic activities. Added to this, for the comprehensive development of the students, the college has provided facilities for sports, a gymnasium and an auditorium for other activities. Orientation towards health is also offered by several aspects, such as an on-campus medical centre and a round-the-clock doctor. The college also has a cafeteria facility and transport facility up to 70 km, and the students also have banking facilities with a dedicated ICICI ATM inside the college. This is an Affiliated College of Anna University, Chennai.
