Sadhu Goureswar College, Kanikapada, the affiliated college was established in 1975 at Jajpur, Odisha. Located on a 15 acre land, this institution has been progressing in the provision of higher education for almost five decades. NAAC accredited college and one of the significant parts of the educational process is quality assurance. Sadhu Goureswar College has 1,272 students and 43 teaching and non-teaching faculties, and this College provides 16 courses in 6 degree programs and mainly exists for arts, commerce, and science.

This college comprises of several amenities meant to supplement the whole learning process of the learners. Avdhoot college campus is having well equipped laboratory for practical sessions, adequate library with having collection of rare books along with journals and separate hostels for boys & girls. Sadhu Goureswar College has a vast portfolio of full-time courses, much to students’ interest. The institution offers one hundred and sixty courses in the fields of arts, commerce and sciences streams. Arts faculty have honours sections in Economics, English, History, Odia, Political Science and Sanskrit. The commerce department operates a programme in B.Com with specialisation in Accountancy and Management. For science lovers there are B. Sc programs with honors in chemistry mathematics, physics, Botany & zoology. Further, the college offers ordinary Bachelors degree programs including BA, B.Com and B.Sc for learners desiring a more conscious exposure for their academics.
