Centrally located in Karnataka, Sahyadri Science College, in the district of Shimoga, was established in the year 1941. This college occupies 81 acres which is most favourable for learning. Having rolled out its constitution as a constituent college, it has been shaping scientists in the country for eight-one years now. The college provides a 36 programmes spread across 6 degree programmes to accommodate scientific disciplines and achieve academic success.

There is boys’ hostel on the school compound with a student capacity of 150 and there is also a girls’ hostel next to the school with equal capacity.
