Sai School of Engineering Burla, was started in 2018 to offer technical education to students resident in A.Katapali Burla in Sambalpur district of Odisha. This co-educational institute is a college affiliated to University and is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Academics Sai School of Engineering has a strength of 23 faculty members and has the right student faculty ratio to focus on the various requirements of its students.

Sai School of Engineering has equipped various facilities so that it could provide an enhanced learning environment to its students. Since any academic institution is incomplete without a library, the AU Library has a seating capacity of 500 students and has a digital library, an AV Room, Journal/Library Resources Area, Conference Hall, and Research Scholars’ Room. To support the theory the college offers departmental laboratories to offer practical experience based on respective fields of study. There are sports fields for the students’ bodily health needs and, in addition, a gym for those who like to exercise. Transport also being another essential college facility, the college provides with buses which ply in the major city routes for easy access by the students. The technological facilities of the institute consist of 30 numbers of computer Core i3 configuration is also integrated to fulfil the technological requirements of modern education.

The Sai School of Engineering, Burla, currently provides only three full-time diploma courses, all in engineering streams, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering . These programmes are aimed at preparing students with knowledge in their areas of specialisation within a period of three calendar years.

Decision on admissions to Sai School of Engineering, Burla is made strictly as per the recommendations made by the government of Odisha for admission in any institution. As for the first-year diploma programmes admission, the marks obtained in the 10th standard examination are considered. It also provides first transfer facility in the second year diploma courses with ITI courses or + 2 Science examination marks.
