Samrat Prathviraj Chauhan College, Firozabad, was established in the year 2013 and is an affiliated college situated in Azamabad Araon, Shikohabad, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. This NCTE approved institution provides a range of academic programmes in a wide spectrum of specialisations. The college take a total enrolment of 259 students where offer six courses from five degree programmes in the area of Education, Commerce and Science.

Samrat Prathviraj Chauhan College has a range of amenities put in place to enrich learning environment and achievement of the learning objectives. It provides the needful two different hostel sections for boys and girls to live comfortably and disease free and thus improve on their study. The library contains all the books used in college and the facility equipped for a students’ stay besides class periods while the auditorium is used in activities such as seminars which improve the colleges life. To make sure that the students get time for recreation the school provides sports facilities for those that have interest in physical activities. The college also ensures that it has sufficient laboratory facilities in order to offer practical exercises mostly in science subjects. The college is affiliated to Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra.

Samrat Prathviraj Chauhan College provides six full time courses in different fields of study only. The course are offered as follows: D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) with 100 seats and B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) with 100 seats. Other courses offered by the college are B.Sc programmes in Bio Group and Maths Group sciences for any of it’s students with interest in the sciences. Further, students can do B.Com for to have a base in commerce field and BA for have broad base in arts stream.

The admission procedure of Samrat Prathviraj Chauhan College differs from course to course. In case of D.El.Ed and B.ED programme, admission is given based on merits obtained in the qualifying examination and or entrance test.
