Sanghvi Institute of Engineering and Technology commonly known as SIET was set up in 2008 in the City of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Located in an attractive campus of 10 acres in size, SIET is geared to provide the following engineering programs to the intending students. As an affiliated college it has been imparting knowledge in technical education for more than one decade. The institute has the vision to offer quality education at engineering discipline to make the students capable to face challenges within the growing technological world.

Students and teachers of the institute can reap in the knowledge of having over 24,726 technical books of various categories like Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Management.  For the students interested in sports and games SIET facilitates an Intra & Inter College Sports Week in Clocked covering most of the major sports and including Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Tennis (Table Tennis), Other Games like Carom & Chess are also included in the competition. The campus has modern facilities in terms of technology so as to enable the students to enjoy the latest technology in their study affairs. To accommodate the students, a larger cafeteria with comfortable furniture, sophisticated setting, and necessary facilities is provided for the purpose of building relationships, mainly to provide refreshment. This also has an ultramodern, fully equipped modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000 that can accommodate seminar, conferences’ and meeting of international standards.

The institute provides a complete engineering curriculum that mainly comprises full time courses. SIET currently provides five Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes: Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The credential offered by each of these four-year programs includes acquisition of specialised knowledge and skills in the specialist area of the student’s choice. These core engineering disciplines chosen by the institute are in support of the diverse needs required in the technological spectrum and to ensure that students are well indulged to meet the carving of various technological domains.

Thus, the main way for obtaining an education at Sanghvi Institute of Engineering and Technology depends on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). This is a common entrance test accepted across the country for admission to the institute at the engineering stream.
