Sankrail Anil Biswas Smriti Mahavidyalaya (SABSM) is an affiliated college in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. The college maintains a merit list admission process for its undergraduate programmes.

The SABSM admission procedure is made to choose worthy candidates on the basis of their performance in the Higher Secondary (H.S) or equivalent examination. For Honours subject courses, the merit points are determined by adding 10% of the aggregate marks secured in the top five subjects at the H.S. examination to the marks secured in the concerned subject or allied subject for which admission at SABSM is being sought.

SABSM has a general BA course with 350 seats. The SABSM admission is merit-based, computed from the marks secured in the H.S. examination. The fees for the BA course are Rs 6,040.

SABSM BA Honours Programmes Admission Process

BA Honours Programmes:

• BA Bengali Honours (90 seats)
• BA Sanskrit Honours (54 seats)
• BA History Honours (56 seats)
• BA English Honours (39 seats)
• BA Political Science Honours (28 seats)
• BA Santali Honours (19 seats)

For all BA Honours courses, the selection procedure is merit-based. Merit points are calculated by adding 10% of the aggregate marks secured in the top five subjects in the H.S. examination to the marks secured in the subject or allied subject for which admission is being applied. The overall fees for these Honours courses are Rs 9,750 each.

SABSM B.Sc Admission Process

 SABSM has a B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) course with 10 seats. The SABSM admission is the same as in BA courses, based on merit from the H.S. examination results.

SABSM BA Physical Education Admission Process

The college also has a BA in Physical Education. The SABSM admission procedure is the same as in other BA courses.
