Saraf Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), was set up in 2010 as an affiliated college in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Over the decade this institution has been gradually building itself up as an institution of engineering education. Located in Tibbi Road-Extension, Hanumangarh Town, the institute teaches a number of engineering courses to student who intend to pursue the course. Having 85 member faculty, SIET’s mission is to offer quality engineering education in all its branches. At the moment, the institute has developed 8 courses which span 2 degrees levels including undergraduate engineering .

SIET has a number of infrastructures that improve the learning of the students. The college library is a centre of information where college learners go to access all sorts of academic information. In general, well-equipped departmental laboratories give the students practical experience as they use concepts learnt to perform numerous experiments. It also has an auditorium to make sure that it conducts events as well as seminars that create a busy academic atmosphere. SIET has laid a solid set of IT facilities, so that students are exposed to latest technologies. For any who wish to engage in sportsmen like activities, the college holds the sports facility. Also present to support the programme is a guest house/waiting room which accommodates the faculty and the family of the students and makes the campus more comfortable as well.

The institute delivers a total of eight courses, out of which all are full time courses. All of these courses are designed mainly for undergraduate engineering students and the B.Tech programmes remain the flagship programmes of this institute.  The courses are B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil, and so on.
