The Saraswat Degree Mahavidyalaya, Godbhaga was established in the year 1997 in affiliation with the Sambalpur University, Odisha. It offers an undergraduate course for students from the arts stream. Those, who have completed their 12th board examination from the stream of arts, and want to further their studies in the domain of humanities, and have secured more than 50% marks, are eligible to apply for admission. The Bachelor of Arts course offered at the Saraswat Degree Mahavidyalaya, Godbhaga is a full-time three-year degree course that has an intake capacity of about 128 students.
