Satguru Institute of Education and Technology Saharanpur was founded in the year 2013 and is one of the recognised institute of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This is a co-educational institute split over an area of 3.4 Acres and is an affiliated college and recognised by NCTE –National Council for Teacher Education. SIET has a well defined specialisation in teacher education, The total number of student is 1052 and faculty is 45. Currently the institute offers only one programme, which is the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) proving the institute’s potential to produce future teachers.

The library acts as the academic support system containing a rich collection of books, reading and reference material, periodicals, journals and magazines all of which have been selected according to the syllabi. Again, independently developed IT infrastructure is constantly overhauled to match modern innovation with SIET benefiting from Wi-Fi on campus. To facilitate the students’ transport needs, the institute provides transport facilities on a fee basis, for students who commute from distant places. Satguru Institute of Education and Technology just offers a B.Ed programme which is a two-year course but the programme is full time. This institute has an approved number of 100 seats for this programme, so as to ensure quality of education through attaining limited number of students in each class. The college is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.

It facilitates the focusing of the resources and skills of SIET towards the preparation of professional qualified instructors. These programmes are called B.Ed which we offer at southern institute of education & technology are aimed at producing competent teachers in all each everyone who passes out from the southern institute of education & technology will be well equipped to face all that is required in the modern teaching arena. 

The admission procedure to B.Ed at Satguru Institute of Education and Technology also depends on the marks of the qualifying and/or entrance tests. The admission policy of the Chartered institute of Management and Commerce of Lucknow is in concordance with the policy set by state government of Uttar Pradesh and the University to which institute is affiliated.
